Question 1

How is this different from a dictionary app?

Accepted Answer

A dictionary tells you what a word means when you ask. Neologics is the other way around — it brings the right words to you, daily, before you needed to ask. The point isn't lookup; it's gradual fluency. Each word arrives with its etymology, its native habitat, the shape of the sentence it likes to live in.

Question 2

Who is Neologics for?

Accepted Answer

Neologics is for people who want a daily English vocabulary routine on iPhone. Explore word meanings, examples, pronunciation, and origins; add personal words; and return for practice. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep vocabulary in view. If you need a general-purpose study deck or an exam-specific course, compare those tools alongside Neologics.

Question 3

Is there a free version?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Neologics is free to download and free to learn from every day. Pro removes the limits — the full word library, all games and practice modes, every theme, and unlimited deep dives. The yearly plan starts with a free trial, and there's a Lifetime option if you'd rather pay once.

Question 4

What's the difference between buying on the web and in the app?

Accepted Answer

Nothing in what you get — both unlock the same Neologics Pro. Buying in the app goes through the App Store; buying here on the web is a regular card checkout, which is where we can offer things like the discounted Lifetime deal. If you start a web checkout from inside the app, you're brought straight back and Pro is live immediately. If anything ever doesn't line up, Support will sort it out.

Question 5

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Accepted Answer

If you subscribed on the web: open the app and go to Settings → Manage Subscription — you'll sign in once so only you can touch your billing. If you subscribed through the App Store: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Lifetime has nothing to cancel — it's yours.

Question 6

Which devices does it work on?

Accepted Answer

Neologics is available for iPhone running iOS 18 or later, with Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Check the App Store listing for current compatibility.

Question 7

What if I miss a day?

Accepted Answer

You can return to learning after a break. Start with a small practice session, revisit words that feel less familiar, and build the routine back at a pace that fits your day.

Question 8

Does it work offline?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The full library, audio pronunciations, and practice sessions all work offline. You only need the internet if you're starting fresh.

Question 9

Can I add my own words?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Anything you encounter — in a book, a podcast, a conversation — can be added to your library and worked into the same daily practice. You can include your own definition, example sentence, and a personal note. It's your collection, kept in your voice.

Question 10

Why a subscription?

Accepted Answer

Because the library keeps growing, the audio is hand-curated, and the practice algorithms get better as we learn more about how memory works. A subscription is what lets us keep deepening the work rather than chasing the next feature. (There's also a Lifetime option if you'd rather pay once.)
